Communication’s platform and graphical profile

Fogmaker Partners should promote the Fogmaker brand, but it is important to follow Fogmaker International AB’s guidelines. This is both to protect and ensure the strength of the Fogmaker brand, and to help partners build their everyday business.

A quick overview:

Naming Guidelines

Fogmaker International AB is our company name. Partners cannot call themselves Fogmaker International AB, or claim to be employees of Fogmaker International AB.

As stated in the contract, partners cannot make up Fogmaker names. It causes confusion and customers will think they talked to a Fogmaker subsidiary when in fact, they didn’t. Both the Fogmaker name and logo are registered trademarks, and using them without permission is infringement.

Partners should promote their own name and logo, build their own brand, and are welcome to use the Certified Partner by Fogmaker logo.

Websites

  • Partners should dedicate a portion of their website to Fogmaker.
  • Partners should link back to fogmaker.com or appropriate regional Fogmaker site.
  • Partners cannot copy the Fogmaker website.
  • We would be happy to put up a translation to your local language in the Fogmaker website framework. A partner can provide the translated text, or we can share the translation cost.

Logo

  • The logos that say Fogmaker International AB, Fogmaker Brazil LTDA, and so on belong to these Fogmaker companies and cannot be used without permission.
  • Partners cannot modify the logo, or make their own Fogmaker logo.
  • Partners are welcome to use the product logo that says “Fogmaker” or the “Certified Partner by” logo.
  • Make sure you have sufficient space around the logo to avoid confusion. It can’t be so close to other graphics or text that they can be construed as belonging together.

If you’re uncertain, contact marketing. We are happy to help!
